More pictures

Sometimes pictures are the best mean to convey a message, to make people see something. I found these images below while searching for a cover picture for my thesis. The seal died of starvation due to the ring it got entangled in, the turtle could not grow normally because of the plastic pice around its body and the reindeers in the last image fastened in the same part of a net while fighting during rutting season and thus also died of starvation. Apart from the species seen here it is many more organisms that are harmed by plastic litter in the oceans. And remember, even the fish we eat do eat plastic particles by mistake. Please, handle your waste with care!
